The Year of Movies

Well, I just found out something pretty interesting.
There are quite a few movies coming out next year that I or Robert (my boyfriend) are wanting to see.
Well, there goes my free time!
In this ditty, I will be discussing the top five movies I’m most excited to see!
1. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Its easy to figure out why I’m so excited and so pumped to see this movie. IT’S A FREAKING PREQUEL TO THE HARRY POTTER SERIES! Well, in a way it is.In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (the third book/ movie in the series) the gang is asked by Professor Hagrid to get a book called “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”  for his class. The book is shown to be carnivorous if you do not stroke it’s spine to open it.
The movie will show Newt Scamander’s (played by Eddie Redmayne)  adventures in New York’s secret community of Witches and Witches.  This movie could not come out any sooner.
Film set to release November 18, 2016
2. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiars
Based off Ransom Rigg’s book series,Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, this movie will feature Eva Green (Dark Shadows) as Miss Peregrine, and will be directed by oddball, Tim Burton. After reading and loving the book series,I can’t wait to see one of my favorite film directors depictions of it.
Film set to hit theaters December 25, 2016
3. X-Men:Apocalypse
There was one point in time that I wasn't constantly obsessing over superhero movies, then I watched all the Marvel movies and Batman movies and was consumed by them. One group of superheros that definitely sparked an interest in me was the X-Men. Everything from the interesting powers, cute guys, interesting stories, all the way to watching the different conflicts between human and mutants or between friends.
Film set to hit theaters May 27, 2016
4. Suicide Squad/ Captain America 3: Civil War
A definite tie between these two superhero/ super villain movie! With Suicide Squad,we get to see a group of recently imprisoned super villains try to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. For fans of the band, Thirty Second to Mars fans, the part you are probably most excited for is lead singer, Jared Leto, playing The Joker.
With Captain America, Robert will probably yank me down to the movie theater the day it comes out. After the heroes are asked by bill to unmask themselves, a rivalry forms between Captain America and Iron Men. Not only is Captain America having to deal with the Iron Men/unmasking situation, he is also trying to help his friend, Bucky, realize who he is.
Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters August 5, 2016
Captain America 3: Civil War will hit theaters August 24, 2016
5. Zoolander 2
After finding and watching a viral video of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson at the  Valentino Fashion Show, I couldn't help but laugh my butt off. The only possible story line released is that Derek and Hansel are modelling again when an opposing company attempts to take them out from the business. The film will feature a star studded cast with Kristen Wiig, Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Munn, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and many more!
Film set to release on February 15, 2016
Honorable Mentions:

  • Alice Through the Looking Glass
  • Deadpool
  • The Legend of Tarzan
  • Warcraft
  • The Jungle Book
